I don't understand why this book is as pop as it is. Don't go me wrong though….information technology is still worth it. I just don't call back its the best. I read the whole book and it helped me review the medicine in General. It'south the splendid number of cases that works only they don't go into the item I would like. If you lot have few people to practise with information technology is non intuitive for your "examiner" to administer. I wish they listed the doses equally they went (if information technology is a medicine we should take memorized) and for the burn example they had they didn't even say what percentage of burn they calculated. Truthful, this is all stuff yous could look upward in other books but I want to know near THAT case. The little review of high yield facts is good. I think they all-time book is First Help for the oral boards and was really hoping a new edition would come out. Information technology is the all-time for using with some other person (especially if your examiner has less medical groundwork). Outset Aid lists, over and over, exactly what you should say and goes in great detail (sometimes painfully so) for each example. I felt get-go assist book is platonic for initial study. This book though is an first-class addition to the Offset Aid book. If y'all take little time get First Aid, if more get BOTH. I did non endeavor Rivers. My married woman used this to pass her EM boards recently. I played examiner for many of these cases, and it was easy for me to help her written report despite the fact that I'1000 non an ER doc. Some medical background is probably very helpful if you lot program to play "examiner" and help someone with the cases. Plenty of cases were included, and in that location is proficient item on what would be considered "disquisitional actions" versus other points to know.
